COLOURS AND THEIR MEANING (PART 2)

YELLOW

Yellow is often associated with joy, happiness, intellect and energy. Yellow is able to produce a warm kind of effect which stimulates cheerfulness. Yellow is also an attention getter. Don’t believe me? Try wearing yellow outfit and walk into your class or office. I bet every eye will be on you. In some culture, yellow is an auspicious color. Like the Hindus for instance. During the Haldi ceremony (a ceremony just before the wedding), a lot of yellow is involved. Yellow is a favorable color in the Indian traditional customs. It depicts prosperity and well being of life. By using this color, it shows that the loved ones wish the very best for the couples. Yellow can lift the gloomy feelings off anyone at almost any time. Yellow is also a symbol of the sun and that is why it is said yellow gives of energy. Yellow clarifies, energizes, inspire and amuses the mind.

 

WHITE

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection. White also means clean, pure and safe. White has a positive meaning to it. White is also a simple color. It is because White is simply plain and has no complexity as any other color. All colors have different shades but white is just white and there are no shades of whites. White symbolizes a new beginning. In Christian weddings, they use white attire to symbolize purity and a new life. Even during funerals, white is worn to show that a chapter has begun. The color white refreshes, balances, purifies and simplifies the mind of a person. White is a balance of all colors.

 

ORANGE

Orange is a combination of yellow and red. It is associated with joy, fascination, tropics, determination and attraction. Orange is also a hot color because it is similar to the color red. So too much of orange is not always recommended. Orange symbolizes youth, optimism and emotion. Orange encourages, uplifts and stimulates the mind. Orange can be a bit cheerful as it is a tangy kind of color.

How to make pancakes

Pancakes are the easiest and preferable breakfast in the morning. Pancakes can just make your stomach full. All you need to do is to make the pancake batter the night before you make it and place the batter in the refrigerator.
