But,  the political system of Malaysia for the past two years, has brought many unexpected conflicts that nearly made the Malaysian government collapse. After some time, Mahathir Mohammad has voted  again as the country’s 7 th  Prime Minister  in 2018. But in February 2020, he resigned from his position in all of sudden and that gave a big impact among Malaysians . Automatically, his post was taken by Muhyiddin Yassin . Festivals and celebrations make me so excited, I'm sure that I'm not alone in this. All of us get excited about celebrations especially when it comes to Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, and Christmas. Everyone from the different race also enjoys celebrating the festivals. I always admire the audience in any festival shows, we unite as 1 Malaysia. However, my family and I celebrate Deepavali where we call the Festival Of Lights where we invite prosperity, happiness and peace into the family. Back here in Melaka, we have carnival a month before Deepavali where they sell attires, sweets, lights, decorations, and also firecrackers. Christmas is the season of giving. And the best part is that anyone and everyone can celebrate it. Christmas is celebrated in regards to the birth of Christ centuries ago. On Christmas, you can see colorful lights, decorations hanging around, Christmas trees, presents and food. I’m going to share how Christmas is celebrated in my family. Every year on the Christmas Eve, we would dress in our best attire and head to church for a Christmas Eve service. We have dance performances, sketches, caroling, a short sermon and refreshments. We even give gifts and hampers to those in need. Children get goodie bags. The vibe is just another level. Christmas songs, everyone wishing and hugging each other and the sound of laughter filling the space. It is just beautiful.
