Advantages of practicing Yoga

       Advantages of practicing Yoga

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. The word “Yoga” essentially means, “that which brings you to reality”. Literally, it means “union.” Union means it brings you to the ultimate reality, where individual manifestations of life are surface bubbles in the process of creation’- Sadhguru.

It’s a belief that Yoga chooses people because through Yoga you will be connecting with the Universe, you will be in a surrendered state to the nature. The purpose of Yoga is to build strength, awareness, and harmony in both body and mind. In Yoga they call poses as Asanas. There are roughly 84 asanas in Yoga, yoga practitioner finds its challenging by unlocking each and one of the asanas. Once you have unlocked all the asanas, you can eventually be a Yoga master, creating more Yogis into this Universe.

There are many advantages by practicing Yoga. One of them gives you peace of mind. It slows down the mental loops of frustration, anger, regret, fear and desires that can cause stress. And because of stress, it can lead you to many health problems. If you learn to quiet your mind, you’ll be likely to live longer and healthier.

Second Yoga helps you to increase your self-esteem. Many of us personally have lower self-esteem in certain ways and that leads us to handle this negatively. But if we take Yoga as a positive approach and practice Yoga, we can notice a different side of ourselves. You’ll experience feelings such as gratitude, empathy and forgiveness as well as sense that you’re a part of something bigger.

Most importantly, practicing Yoga makes you to have a healthy eating habits. The more Asanas you have unlocked the more you are into Yoga and that makes you to change some of your lifestyle habits. Logically if you whacked food and practice Yoga afterward you cannot do the Asanas completely. Eventually, you will reduce eating and change your eating lifestyle.

Most of us misunderstand that Yoga is particularly for non-muslims. It is absolutely incorrect, Yoga is a way of life and everyone in this world can practice it. Yoga changes us mentally and physically and I believe it is the most important thing all of us have to have in our life. Personally, I have come across many people whose life changed after practicing Yoga. Everything begins with us but the question is WHEN?

Gratitude

What is gratitude? Gratitude is a way of being thankful or show appreciation for and to return kindness. In the beginning, I only know gratitude as a greeting where we need to thank people for their help or time but I got to know that gratitude has much power in it. Special thanks to my friend for introducing me to this, she made wonders and so am I. So this is how it works, get a book, any book which is comfortable for you to write. Start your writing with "Thank you God" and end your writing with "Thank you, God". You have to write things about everything in the past tense. For example, you have applied for a job and you are waiting for their call. So you write like "Thank you, God, I have already joined the job" You gotta write as if it already happened. But this does not work all the time. The purpose of doing this where you create a positive vibe where good things have already happened and will happen if you have input your hard work. I have also ...
