Positive words have the power to encourage and lift someone up. Just a simple compliment like 'you're beautiful', 'you look great' or even a simple 'thank you' can make a person feel special. So go ahead and give someone a compliment today and see that bright smile on their face.
2) Show gratitude

Many times we tend to take things for granted. For instance, at home, where our mom does the chores, the cooking, the cleaning and managing the house. We sometimes make it seems like its her job to do all those things and we take her for granted. But by showing gratitude, you will not only ease her work but you will make her feel happy and at peace.Gratitude is a way of being thankful or a way to show your kindness in return.

As they say, sharing is caring. It may be the cookies you have, ideas or hobby. share them with your loved ones and those around you. Take a child for an example. We don't know what people are going through everyday and we don't necessarily have to ask them about it. Sometimes, a smile is all we need to make them feel better. It doesn't matter if its just a 20 minutes talk or when you're passing by, just smile and see the magic for yourself.
7) Just listen

We tend to think that people in hard times is seeking advice but what they are actually looking for is someone to just hear them out. Try it. When your friend or sibling is going through a tough time, just ask them what's wrong and assure them that if there's anything they want to share, you are ready to listen. And all you have to do is listen. You became a place where they can share their thoughts. You are playing a role in helping them to let go and not hold back.
8) Gifts

I don't mean fancy, expensive gift. Anything can be a gift. Like yesterday, i got my grandma a bunny plush toy and a balloon while see was at the hospital. She was so happy about it and it made her day. You can even make something by yourself, like a card or painting or maybe bake something. You can even write a letter or buy them their favourite drink. It doesn't matter what you give as long you give it whole-heartedly.
