Advantages and disadvantages of drinking Coffee

Right now I'm sipping my second coffee drink that's how much I love coffee. I have to start my day with coffee and of course end with coffee also. Personally, it helps me to focus more on what I am doing. For example, I used to take a cup of coffee before I start my assignment, in fact right now I'm having it haha. But sometimes when I take too much coffee I have some difficulties sleeping at night. My mind will be too active and at that point, I regret having too much coffee. Well, there are some advantages and disadvantages of drinking coffee so here it goes :

Advantages

1) Coffee helps you focus and stay alert
As I told, coffee can make you focus on your work. It is because coffee is high in caffeine and that helps your brain to be active.

2) Coffee helps you to burn fat
Probably this is why I love coffee. I mean "wow" coffee can make you burn your fat! How amazing is that, but I wonder why is my body fat not reducing, sigh! Coming back, coffee contains potassium and magnesium, which helps the body use insulin, regulating blood sugar levels, and reducing your craving for sugary treats and snacks.

3) Coffee reduces the risk of cancer
Studies show that coffee may reduce the risk of prostate cancer among men by 20%, and endometrial cancer in women.

Disadvantages

1) Bad coffee can be toxic
Bad quality of coffee can cause your impurities. It can cause you problems like headaches, sickness, or a general bad feeling. This can happen if your coffee is made from beans that is over-riped or otherwise ruined.

2) Coffee can cause insomnia and restlessness
As I told you, I probably had too much coffee that day and it causes insomnia. In a day, we must only have 4 cups of coffee and that is about 400 milligrams. Anything more than that can cause you problems.

3) High cholesterol people must choose filtered coffee
This is because coffee bean contains cafestol and kahweol two ingredients that appear to raise LDL cholesterol levels. Filtering the coffee traps most of the LDL, but cafestol and kahweol are found in espresso, Turkish coffee, french press, and Scandinavian style “cooked coffee”.

So are you good or bad in coffee? Choose wisely and remember anything that is too much can cause your problems. Limit the intake and live a healthy life.
