I've been addicted to hiking these days and I really wanted Bukit Batu Putih as my first hike, sadly couldn't make it as my first experience. My first hike was at Bukit Gasing with my uni mates, and yes after a long gap I've decided to continue exploring.
Thank you to that one person who gave me a lifetime memory of hiking and sunsets. This is all because of you, dedicating all the beautiful things to you. You made me to see you in everything. Thank you! I'll cherish it forever!
Soooo, personally, this is the first hike I'm hosting with zero experience. Glad that my family loved it.
It was a long peaceful drive from Melaka to Port Dickson. Usually, we don't take the highway instead we drove all the way in the old road. Trust me it's beautiful. We reached Bukit Batu Putih at 6pm and start hiking at 6.10pm. It was a road track for about 20 minutes. There are few tracks to reach the peak but we choose the easiest one. Before the lighthouse, there will be a track on your right side leading to Bukit Batu Putih. Thank you to the locals who guided us as I was confused about which way to go.
We start hiking the jungle track at 6.25pm and reached Bukit Batu Putih at 6.45pm. In order to watch the sea view, you need to climb the rock with a rope given to you. You have to be extra careful with your steps because the hill was steep with rough rocks. Then boom, the view to die for. Since it was a gloomy day we couldn't watch the sunset but it's all worth it. I might go there again to watch my sunset haha 😋
And guess what, the photo session began. Since we went on a weekday, there were fewer people and obviously, we conquered the whole place. We had some tea and banana fritters. What else you can ask for? Tea time with a view I would say, haha, a lifetime memory created with my family. My little brothers really enjoyed it as it was their first hike.
We were chit-chatting and having fun till we didn't realize the time was 7.15pm and getting darker. Godamn, my mom was so worried about how we are going to hike down since its getting darker but who cares, you have to enjoy the moment 😝 I know it's not safe, will check on the timing next time hehe. The place was completely dark and thank god for our phone's torchlight. We got down together and reached down at 7.50pm.
As soon as we got down our stomach starting growling so Tom Yam it is! Whacked some Tom Yam before heading back home. Thank you to Ar.Rahman sir's song for accompanying me to Melaka all the way from Port Dickson. Indeed, it was a beautiful day with beautiful souls. Looking forward for my next hike soon till then adios.
