If a person's body weight is at least 20% higher than it should be, he or she is considered obese. There are some reasons why people become obese. One of the reasons is consuming too many calories. Consuming too many calories and not exercising may lead you to gain weight. Next is living a lazy life. For example, after having a good meal in the afternoon, the individual decides to sleep. Due to the indigestion of foods, you may lead to obesity. Next which is very common is the obesity gene.
The causes of obesity among Unisel students are Psychological factors. For some students, emotions influence eating habits. Many people eat excessively in response to emotions such as boredom, sadness, stress, or anger. Other than that most of the Unisel students don’t like to eat vegetables and unrefined carbohydrates, such as wholemeal bread and brown rice. From my survey that I have done Unisel students love eating larger portions than they need. This is because they are encouraged to eat in larger portions just because their friends are doing it. Besides that most of the students loves to eat out at a restaurant. Students may have a starter or dessert in a restaurant, and the food can be higher in fat and sugar. The major cause of obesity among Unisel students is eating too many junk foods such as pizza, burgers, and many more. Most of them ensure this food in their daily lives because junk food is their favorite food.
One of the major ways Unisel students can do is by reducing their body fat and focusing on healthy eating. A healthy eating plan can help them to reduce their body weight. Having more grains and vegetables helps them a lot. For example, preparing their own meal like overnight oats and bowls of frooties. Next, reducing their daily calorie intake can help you to lose weight. They should first calculate their daily calorie intake and then determine how many calories they will need to cut every day to lose weight. Third, creating their own portion sizes. Eating a plate of rice than eating a bowl of rice can give them a lot of difference in quantity. Eventually, by creating their own portion sizes they can know their own appetite and easily can lose weight. Lastly, by reducing their daily calorie intake. We usually don’t count the number of calories in our daily life. All we know to fulfill our stomach with foods that look good for us. But for obesity patients,you really need to consider this. For example, in case you took a big amount of calories, mind to remove all those by exercising. Excess sweats lead to a healthy life.
