NATARAJASANA - Dancers Pose


Natarajasana is the Lord of Dance Pose/Dance Pose which is a standing, balancing and back bending asana in modern yoga as exercise. Ways to perform this pose :

- stand tall with your feet together
-bend your left knee and bring your left foot towards your glute
-grab onto the inner arch of your left foot with your left hand and slowly lift your foot towards the ceiling
-at the same time, reach your right arm forward and up toward ceiling
-keep your chest lifted
-hold on one side for 5-10 breaths, then switch lines

Benefits of Natarajasana :

- gives strength to your chest, ankles, hips and legs
- icreases your metabolism
- helps in weight loss
- posture is improved and balance is increased
