Are youths treated this way in politics?

Syed Saddiq dipersenda di Dewan Rakyat: Adakah belia dilayan ...

"Grandson, grandson wants to interject… grandson," said Tanjung Karang Member of Parliament (MP), Tan Sri Noh Omar when MP for Muar, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman wanted to interject while the Langkawi MP, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was debating.

On the 13th of July, there was a parliament sitting and yes, there was a lot of dramas seen. Among the highlighted incident was when the 27 year old Muar MP, Syed Saddiq, was ready to confront the Tun Mahathir's point of view regarding the change of the Dewan Rakyat speaker. But then, it became noticeable that he wasn't given the respect he deserved.

Padang Rengas MP Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz interjected saying, "Muar, go jump hurdles."
Tanjong Karang MP Tan Sri Noh Omar then added, "Grandson, grandson wants to speak."
And there were several other MPs who ridiculed and hurled at Syed Saddiq.

Netizen who watched the news and the video that went viral were concerned with the lack of professionalism displayed by older and experienced MPs.

I mean at least the kid is trying, so why not these MPs just take some time to listen to what he saying? The scene literally showed that they show no respect to the younger generation. Most of the netizens supported Syed Saddiq and felt it was not appropriate for him to be treated that way, especially from the elected representatives who are more senior than him.

Check out the link below to see what netizen's have posted on their Twitter aacount regarding this matter.

The youth of today should be given the opportunity to speak up and the elders should respect that. If they are not respected and given chances, how do you expect the youngsters to look after the country? How do you  expect them to do good things to bring up the country? I understand experience speaks louder but that doesn't give you the rights to insult those of least experience. Sometimes experience and age alone isn't enough, you need to learn to respect too.

Gratitude

In the beginning, I only know gratitude as a greeting where we need to thank people for their help or time but I got to know that gratitude has much power in it. Special thanks to my friend for introducing me to this, she made wonders and so am I. So this is how it works, get a book, any book which is comfortable for you to write. Start your writing with "Thank you God" and end your writing with "Thank you, God". You have to write things about everything in the past tense. For example, you have applied for a job and you are waiting for their call. So you write like "Thank you, God, I have already joined the job" You gotta write as if it already happened. But this does not work all the time. The purpose of doing this where you create a positive vibe where good things have already happened and will happen if you have input your hard work. I have also ...
