59 Chinese Apps banned in India

The government of India has banned 59 Chinese mobile applications including the most popular apps which is Tik Tok and Wechat, t o counter the threat posed by these applications to the country’s “sovereignty and security,” it said in a press release late on Monday. The administration said the applications are occupied with activities "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, protection of India, the security of the state and public order." The boycott has been forced under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with significant arrangements of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009.  A top official said the govt had thought about all possibilities before making the choice. "These applications have been there for quite a while, and there are some protection and security issues with them including dangers of information leaving the nation," said the individual. ...

Nigerian high commission seeks indictment of gang rapists

                                              The Nigerian High Commission has called for justice for a Nigerian national who was allegedly gang raped on June 4. It is appealing to Malaysian authorities to prosecute the case before dealing with the 30-year-old woman’s immigration status. She is under investigation over the validity of her visa and is currently detained. A spokesman for the high commission told FMT the alleged rape had left her with physical and psychological injuries. “There is a need for reparation and punishment for the injustice,” he said. Four men have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape and Kuala Lumpur police said they were looking for three other suspects. Justice for Jeyaraj and Fenix of Thoothukudi

                                              Earlier this month, on the 19 th of June 2020, P. Jayaraj, 59, and his son Fenix, 31, residents in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu (Thoothukudi/Tuticorin) were captured by the police department in Santhankulam for violating lockdown rules. The police said that both the father and son had kept their mobile shop open despite the lockdown rules.      The duos were tortured, raped and were brutally murdered by the police while they were held captive. A Grammy-award winning rapper and a devoted mother who is now a Malaysian food lover !  Cardi B caught the attention of Malaysian fans after posting videos and photos of Malaysia food. Some of the snacks includes curry puff, fried popiah, fried bihun, pau and many more.  Fans were pretty excited because she seems to love the snacks that originated from their country. Sabah student who sat for online exams in tree gets scholarship offer, MCMC to build telco tower near her village

                                           Sabahan student Veveonah Mosibin has been offered a scholarship from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) after a video of her climbing a tree to sit for her online exams blew up online. UMS vice-chancellor Professor Taufiq Yap Yun Hin announced the news on Facebook yesterday and said the 19-year-old will be offered a scholarship to pursue her bachelor’s degree once she completes her foundation in science programme at the institution. “Veveonah is a bright student and has been consistently proactive throughout her foundation in science studies. “May she succeed with excellence in her studies. Congratulations, Veveonah!” wrote Professor Taufiq. Do animals have feelings?

Have you thought about animals having feelings and emotions ? Maybe we fail to realize or we are ignorant about it but there is a closer link between humans and animals.  Animals have a way to respond to the environment just like humans do; reacting emotionally to others and even becoming stressed and anxious in times of danger. These emotions have a marked effect on their behaviour but while researchers may never be able to know how animals actually feel, studies have found that there are definite behavioural similarities in emotional expression between animals and humans.    Of course, animals can't express themselves linguistically or by words but they show it through actions.
